Purpose

The purpose of this quick reference guide is to step through the process of creating a new Work Schedule using the Work Schedule Manager. The intended audience for this document is Standard Payroll Users.

Steps

Create a Work Schedule Record

To create a Work Schedule record, the following steps should be completed:
  1. Click on the App Launcher icon (see Figure 1).
  2. Go to the Schedules object by using the Search function (see Figure 2).

  1. Click on the New button (see Figure 3).

  1. Select the Work Schedule record type from the picklist options (see Figure 4).
  2. Click on the Next button.
  3. Populate the following required fields: (See Figure 5)
    1. Schedule
    2. Work Schedule Start Date
    3. Work Schedule Number of Weeks
    4. Shift Time Format
    5. Break Time Format
  4. Click on the Save button.

  1. A new Work Schedule record with its Status as New is created and ready for Shift Records to be allocated (see Figure 6).

Open and edit an existing Work Schedule

If you wish to open and edit an existing Work Schedule after exiting the Work Schedule Manager, follow the below steps:
  1. Go to the Schedules object.
  2. From the list view picklist, select the view that will include the Work Schedule record to be opened.
  3. Navigate to the required record.
  4. Click on the Launch button (see Figure 7).
The Work Schedule record will open ready for use in the Work Schedule Manager (see Figure 8).
